COSCO's 10,000-TEU Xin Beijing broke away from it mooring at Slovenia's Koper container terminal in high winds, but was caught and brought under control by two tugs before it drifted into other ships, reported Rostock, Germany's FleetMon.

The ship, inbound from Trieste, drifted across basin towards opposite berths, and was stopped by tugs just in time to avoid collision with berthed ships. The operation took 20 minutes, and no damage was reported.
